Gideon Abako is Principal Investigator at the Institute for Frontier AI Safety. His work focuses on frontier AI evaluations, agentic AI, AI safety measurement, and empirical research methods. His background spans machine learning, model evaluation, technical research systems, and the management of externally funded research programmes.

The current project studies how limits in compute, connectivity, memory, tool access, and human oversight affect the behaviour and safety of LLM-based agentic AI systems.
